In November we went to visit the facilities of the company Linecar. We visited them in order to meet with the company\u00b4s team and learn more about their experience working with FlotasNet and Smart Data Services.<\/p>

Bus company Galo \u00c1lvarez – Linecar was founded more than 90 years ago, in 1926. In 1942 company “Autom\u00f3viles Galo \u00c1lvarez S.A.” was founded, expanding their fleet and destinations. In 1986 it joined the Linecar group, that meant the union of two large companies in the sector. During this time, the company has been growing not only in the number of buses, but also in routes and services.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Galo \u00c1lvarez-Linecar Group has wide range of facilities at the service of its customers. The company has different regular lines such as the one connecting Torrecaballeros – La Granja – Segovia, or Pe\u00f1afiel – El Olmo – Madrid. But the most important service is the Valladolid – Cu\u00e9llar – Segovia line, with 12 daily departures, that transports a great number of customers. In addition to the regular lines, the company provides all kind of discretionary services, from school services to services to important sports clubs, including Caja Segovia Football Sala, travel services abroad and arranged excursions to different places.<\/p>

The company\u00b4s main objectives are safety and comfort of passengers, and for achieving this, the interiors of the buses are designed for being ergonomic and comfortable; they also have their own workshops with qualified staff; they have all the compulsory insurance and authorizations for reassurance and answer the current transport regulations.<\/p>

Linecar\u00b4s professional activity is recognized by the Segovian Transport Association (ASETRA) with the award for the best transport company.<\/p>

In order to have the most modern security measures in its fleet and the latest technological tools, Linecar decided to control its fleet through our fleet management system – FlotasNet. Thanks to FlotasNet, they can confirm the professionalism of their drivers, as well as verify compliance with driving times and schedules.<\/p>

Smart Data Services have been collaborating with Linecar since 2019 and for this reason we decided to travel to their facilities in Ponferrada, to learn more about the company and the reasons why they decided to implement FlotasNet as a tool for the fleet management. We are grateful for their good treatment and kindness. We hope that our cooperation will last for a long time.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tThere are many fleet management tools on the market, but we saw in FlotasNet a personalised and adaptable solution for our passenger transport service. FlotasNet is a very user friendly web platform, and their app is convenient. Another interesting point for us was information avaliable in the real-time and the remote download of tachographs\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
